Job responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive financial planning and investment advisory services
  • Research and present financial and tax strategies
  • Partner with clients to fulfill on their retirement planning
  • Implement risk management and tax planning strategies
  • Make estate planning, Social Security, cash flow management and debt management recommendations
  • Manage & grow client relationships
  • Identify and cultivate new clients through your own connections and community
  • Empower clients to reach and exceed their goals
  • Contribute content ideas for marketing efforts with your financial planning knowledge and experience
  • Process client service forms
  • Demonstrate ownership of company needs and client processes
  • Demonstrate leadership in company meetings
  • Participate in business development and company initiatives
  • Maintain systems and processes to make sure you don’t “drop the ball” and finish tasks/projects to completion
  • Additional duties as required

  • Comprehensive knowledge of topics related to financial planning
  • In-depth understanding of the securities industry, including investment products and services
  • Self-starter with an entrbepreneurial spirit
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills – clear and concise
  • Strong interpersonal aptitude
  • Passionate about empowering women and helping clients grow their net worth
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficient with financial planning software (eMoney, Holistiplan)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Superior client service standards

  • Manages projects to completion
  • Follows and builds company processes and procedures 
  • Takes initiative – seeks out ways to improve the business, self, and client experiences.

Education and Experience

  • 10 years of financial planning experience at a Registered Investment Advisory Firm (preferably with a firm who utilized Focus Partners as a TAMP)
  • Current CFP® professional
  • Series 65 license (or attainment within 90 days of start date)
  • (Preferred, but not required) $10M in assets with clients committed to you and the plans you built together that will follow you to HWM

  • Full-time, remote position working Pacific Time, Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm
  • Compensation range of $110,000–$155,000
  • Quarterly profit-sharing opportunity
