Hi, I’m Hilary Hendershott®, founder of Hendershott Wealth ManagementSM. My story-and my self-confidence-hit rock bottom when I lost my luxury condo to foreclosure, spent all of my money (and then some), and drove my FICO score below 500.
That experience – and the compassion and financial wisdom I learned recovering from it – helped me revitalize how I think and plan for growing wealth in my life. It is infused in who I am as a professional. I now run a leading financial advisory firm for women and couples. With over 20 years of experience as a fee-only fiduciary financial advisor and stock market expert, I’m helping empower women and couples to take control of their financial future.
I started Hendershott Wealth ManagementSM in 2014 where my team and I provide wealth management services for high-net-worth women and couples. I’ve helped women across the U.S. protect and grow their wealth while reducing – or even eliminating – their financial stress.
This is the part where I tell you I’m also the host of the Love, your Money® podcast where I get to share interviews and insight with actually actionable advice to help you in your financial journey. I’m also a TEDx speaker and regularly featured in the Wall Street Journal, NBC, ABC, FOX, DailyWorth, Forbes, and Investopedia.
I was recognized as a Top 40 Under 40 Entrepreneur in Silicon Valley and Investopedia has named me one of the Top 100 Most Influential Advisors in the US for 6 consecutive years. After more than 30 television appearances, NBC gave me the nickname “The Investor’s Voice of Reason” as their go-to personal finance expert in Silicon Valley.
While I do have an MBA from Santa Clara University and I’m also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, my favorite title may be wife and mama. My husband Robert and I adore our daughter Harlyn who recently overcame childhood leukemia. Now she’s living a normal, healthy childhood and we are able to spend time as a family at our homes in California and the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. We’re loving life and see a bright future where we see people prospering, the world is thriving, and financial freedom is everywhere.

Hi, I’m Robert Hendershott, proud husband and #1 fan of the founder of Hendershott Wealth Management.
I recently emerged from partial retirement, joining HWM to support a new initiative: Ultra Tax Efficient Wealth ManagementSM (UTEWM).
Prior to that partial retirement, I put my bachelors degree in electrical engineering from Stanford and PhD in Finance from The Ohio State to work for 26 years founding and running a series of successful private equity and hedge funds. I’ve also published finance papers based on research in bank consolidation, venture capital, and real estate.
I continue to be a tenured professor of 30+ years at Santa Clara University, albeit in a reduced role, and am now thrilled to leverage both my education and career experience to champion HWM clients supercharging their wealth building through a new-to-market investment strategy where, truly, everyone wins – a philosophy I have always tried to have underpin my life.
As a father, I have become increasingly interested in how to support agency, autonomy, and accomplishment as children learn and develop. While all three are important to foster in youngsters, I’ve come to believe that friendship and fun are just as critical during the formative years – and, honestly, this holds for adults, too.
My passion is that people of all ages discover what energizes and fulfills them, which is unquestionably easier with the right resources, and I’m delighted to be part of an organization dedicated to empowering people to thrive.

Hi, I’m Jen, and I’m a Financial Advisor, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, wife, mother, and friend. Before joining Hendershott Wealth Management in 2017, I spent 12 years serving with an independent wealth management firm in Indiana. What I love more than anything else about my role is that I get to work with clients.
Can I share a secret? I’m an analytics aficionado (read: numbers nerd), which means I love how numbers can work to make your money go further. It’s one thing to imagine the life you want, but it means that much more when you have the number to back it up.
That’s where my education and experience give me a unique perspective. I was the first woman to graduate from Bethel College with my particular degree in Economics and Finance with a minor in Accounting. This also seemed to be the future for me and I’ve wanted to be a conduit for positive financial outcomes in people’s lives for as long as I can remember.
With Hendershott Wealth ManagementSM, I can focus my expertise on our collaborative coaching and financial planning. This is my chance to help numbers be fun and fulfilling – and also enormously impactful – for everyone.

Hi, I’m Hollina, and I am an Oregonian who was born and raised in a tiny town of 1,000 people. Being raised in a small town with seven siblings, I learned the importance of work ethic from a young age. I put myself through college and knew for a long time that finances were fascinating to me. To work full time, go to school full time, and save for retirement might seem far-fetched for someone in their 20s… but let me tell you, it is possible.
I got started in the finance industry in 2016, finding that I could blend that fascination of finances with my love of hearing other people’s stories the more I dove into financial planning and wealth management.
I truly believe we all have a unique story, with personal experiences that drive us, whether they be positive or negative. Every client brings those stories to the table, and I thrive on whole-heartedly getting to know our clients so we can give advice based on their life and what’s in their best interest.
I am honored to work for Hendershott Wealth Management, where every single person on our team (and I mean every single one!) gets their cup filled as we walk alongside our clients and celebrate their successes in their financial journey.
I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERⓇ professional with a Master’s of Science in Personal Financial Planning. However, the highlight of my life was becoming a mother in 2023. The journey was many years in the making for my husband and I, as we had to go through in vitro fertilization. I spend my free time exploring the outdoors or out on the high lakes with my husband, son, and dogs, embracing every moment, every smile, every hardship, and every milestone.

Hi, I’m Alyssa, and I’m a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, wife and mother of three. My career started in the banking industry, which quickly turned into a love of helping clients reach their financial goals. I spent the past 10 years doing financial planning with clients on their road to financial freedom. This is incredibly fulfilling to me.
I am a California native, and have lived in the Bay Area, Southern California and Sacramento. Most recently, as our eldest daughter went off to college at UCLA, we decided it was time to relocate to the beautiful Central Coast.
On any given weekend, you might find me hiking, wine tasting, walking along the beach or kayaking in Avila Bay. I find joy in all of the new adventures in this part of California…except for the stinging jellyfish, ouch!
I have been with Hendershott Wealth ManagementSM since its inception in 2014, and am proud of the work we do with our clients. As the Financial Advisor for the Ignite Investing® program, I work with clients who are actively growing their retirement accounts, and want to ignite their financial future. The time I spend with clients is the best part of what I do!
With one child in college and two more headed that direction, I know the challenges that growing families face. Mortgage payments, saving for college and retirement, investing in yourself, and everything life throws our way can be overwhelming. Hi, I’m Ashley, and I’m a financial advisor dedicated to empowering our clients through both financial education and strategic decision-making.
Growing up, I witnessed my parents battle with issues of overspending, money avoidance, and working so hard for money but never taking the time to be present or enjoy it. That, along with my own experiences, fueled me to make a difference in my own life, as well as others’.
I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a BA in Business Management and a minor in Finance. Among all my required courses, it was the classes in Personal Finance and Entrepreneurship that lit me up, rather than feeling like I was just checking another box to graduate.
(I still laugh, thinking of my many debates with classmates over whether to splurge on daily coffee or stick to instant noodles, knowing, in hindsight, it was laying the groundwork for my passion for financial planning!)
I began my career in finance when I established my own financial coaching and consulting business, where I spent seven years guiding clients toward better financial outcomes. I then grew into comprehensive wealth management, allowing me to maximize my ability to support people in achieving their financial and life goals.
At Hendershott Wealth Management, I’m thrilled to integrate behavioral finance principles with comprehensive wealth strategies. I’m committed to helping individuals and families create lasting financial well-being through personalized solutions that truly resonate with their unique circumstances. Hi, I’m Sarah, and I’m delighted to be Hendershott Wealth Management’s Chief of Staff. Born and raised in Ireland, I found myself surrounded from my earliest years by men and women with entrepreneurial mindsets, adventurous spirits, big hearts, and a calling to wring every single drop of joy and fun from life. Now, I’m thrilled to help our clients and community build financial futures that allow them to do the same.
Prior to joining the team, I spent more than 10 years providing strategic operational support to leaders and their teams in industries as diverse as finance, tech, law, and healthcare. I’ve seen it all and am excited to bring that knowledge to help HWM continue its mission to build a world where everyone is thriving – and to deliver the results and service our clients deserve.
Today, I call sunny Southern California home, alongside my wife and two slightly chaotic cats. Any time spent not working is devoted to hiking, cooking, reading, and trying out all the fabulous culinary delights that my adopted home has to offer.

Hi, I’m Sue, and I’m a Client Service Associate, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, and former career banker who gets to call the birthplace of jazz home in New Orleans. In the early parts of my career, I served in Trust departments for several banking institutions in the New Orleans area before transitioning to Client Services for wealth management firms like Hendershott Wealth Management. In my most recent roles, I served several financial advisors and their clients managing account service requests and other operational activities.
What drew me to join our team is how committed we all are to setting up women for financial success. The client care HWM provides is inspiring. It’s a privilege to connect with our clients, hear their stories, and co-create a future that empowers women to get the financial guidance they deserve.
I have more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. My degrees in Paralegal Studies and Office Administration help me see a bright future for our company. When I’m not busy serving clients, I’m doing strength training, enjoying the beach, watching live music, and attending classic car shows with my husband and our 1967 Camaro.
