[00:00:33] Hilary Hendershott: Hey there, Money Lovers. Hilary here. If you’ve been a long-time listener of Love, your Money®, first of all, thank you. And second of all, you might have noticed we’ve been a little quieter than usual because, for the past few months, we’ve been publishing episodes every other week. That pause or slowdown was intentional.

[00:00:51] We were heads down focused on something big. We were launching what we’re calling Ultra Tax Efficient Wealth ManagementSM. That’s one of the most sophisticated suites of strategies I’ve ever been able to offer our clients. But now I’m excited to say I’m back on a weekly schedule and we’re bringing something new to the mix.

[00:01:13] In addition to our usual rhythm, deep dive solo episodes where I break down things like capital gains tax, charitable giving strategies, investment philosophy, money mindset, plus interviews with amazing experts like Jean Chatzky and Jeff Willmore, we’re adding a new kind of episode. They’re short, they’re sweet, they’re unscripted, and they’re all about connection. Because here’s the truth: Human connection is one of our firm’s superpowers.

[00:01:42] We don’t just manage money, we build relationships. We listen. We care. And while we love dreaming up and delivering top-tier educational content that increases financial literacy for women and couples everywhere, we also want to make this more of a two-way conversation. And what better way to do that than to open up the floor to your questions?

[00:02:04] And I’m doing that now with our new episode format. We’re calling it Ask Hilary. Every other week, I’ll hop on the mic to answer real questions from listeners. That means you. These episodes are relaxed, honest, and conversational. Think confessional style, like your favorite reality shows, but without the chaos or the manufactured drama because let’s be real, you’ve got enough going on, and what we want to create here is peace of mind around your financial future.

[00:02:32] If you’re part of our email or social media communities, you might have already noticed us asking for questions, and if not, no worries. You can send one anytime to the Love, your Money® mailbag by emailing hello@hendershottwealth.com. That’s hello@hendershottwealth.com. Or you can find us on Instagram @HendershottWealth, where you can slide into our DMs.

[00:02:55] Here are just some examples of questions you could ask just to get your wheels turning. “Hilary, should I sell my RSUs now or should I wait until they vest?” “How do I talk to my aging parents about money without sounding like a jerk or getting my feelings hurt?” “What’s the real cost of holding onto too much cash?”

[00:03:12] “My partner and I don’t agree on spending. How do I even begin that conversation to create harmony in my relationship and still have money?” “Do I need a trust or is a will enough?” So, whether it’s about investing, taxes, parenting, partners, your business, or your future, I want to hear your questions. No topic is too small, no story is too complicated, and yes, you can ask anonymously if you want to. So, make sure you’re subscribed to the podcast or you’re following, or whatever the thing is these days because we’ve got so many great episodes coming your way.

[00:03:45] I’ll be back next week with an interview with Jeff Willmore, and the week after will be our very first Ask Hilary. Until then, love your money and trust yourself. Talk soon.
